"Still round the corner, there may wait, a new road or secret gate - J.R.R.Tolkien"

I was born and lived most of my life in southern Brazil, where I started coding aged 12 and found my early passions for travel when I regularly visited Argentina and Chile.

Since I was 9 years old, I had a gift to find interesting places, studying maps, and finding ways to go around. When I first visited Buenos Aires with my family, me, a 10-year-old kid, was guiding them, not the other way around.

I developed my technical skills in university and then dropped everything and traveled alone to Europe, Estonia, where I would study at Tallinn University of Technology and fulfill my dream to live abroad. There I made a successful career as a Full-Stack Developer and used the money to travel all over Europe.

While traveling, using my expertise in planning trips I would always plan everything myself or with friends, and would always end up in the stressful, boring situation of organizing all details and itinerary of a trip. So we decided to change that, then, Trippola was born.

We are building trippola to be the next-generation travel planning application, where users can plan their trips in a unique step-by-step way using a sophisticated machine-learning algorithm to learn of the users' preferences and suggest ideas, no stupidity of full generated itinerary either, the user still has full control!

While we are building it, you can take a look at our blog, where we are making articles on everything travel related, from tips and user stories to ideas on full itineraries. These hard times will not slow down our passion for what that is, this insatiable desire to explore every inch of our world!
